The Near Me Service
The Near Me service gives the people of Scotland the choice to attend health, care and other appointments via video call where appropriate.
The Near Me service is directly funded by the Scottish Government through NHS Scotland. It is the recommended video calling platform for Scottish public bodies and related organisations for contact with patients and citizens.
The service is used by all NHS Scotland boards, all local authorities, many other public bodies, including Social Security Scotland, as well as associated organisations such as Citizens Advice Scotland and third-sector organisations.

What is Near Me?
Near Me is a video consulting service that currently uses the Attend Anywhere platform. This is a web-based system that helps public sector providers offer video call access to their services as part of business as usual operations.
